Serving families just like yours

With special education advocacy.

My name is Jill Hornig, and I’m a special education attorney. I am a parent, like you, who discovered the world of special education when two of my three children were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

For Connecticut Clients, I am pleased to announce that you can now reach me through Forte Law Group, to better serve all of your Special Education Needs.

Being there for you is my priority.

My primary goal is to build a relationship with my clients, to be there when they have questions, when they need guidance or when they don’t know what to do next.

How I Can Support You

Legal Services

 Legal Representation

If you are at the point where your child’s education plan is no longer working and you have done everything you can to work with your district to improve things, you might be ready for legal representation.

Behind the Scenes

When you need help behind the scenes on discrete tasks such as reviewing IEPs, reviewing new evaluations, holding a strategy session for an upcoming PPT, or helping you prepare written documents.

Ongoing Guidance

When you want someone available to answer questions and point you in the right direction.  For a monthly fee, you can have a special education lawyer available to provide you with information and resources.
